BLOOD-AID
We developed a band-aid that reveals a person's blood type in seconds. This innovative band-aid features a layer of synthetic fibers with a blood-reactive liquid. When in contact with blood, it uses the process of agglutination to display your blood type almost instantly.
We replaced the regular band-aid for Dasa's over 10,000 blood-related exams with Blood-aids. Our 5,000-strong workforce was trained to input patients' data into our system and their smartphones. This helps us detect future diseases and treatments, send specific health literature related to their blood type, and deliver over 30,000 targeted content pieces to our patients.
