Palmeiras 2023 Home Kit
Palmeiras is currently the most victorious soccer team of the Americas.
But this story has started decades ago: Palmeiras used to play such an inspiring soccer back in the 60’s and in the 70’s, that these lineups were called Soccer Academies. In the 60’s they were know as the “First Academy”, and in the 70’s, “Second Academy”.
The current lineup has reached an even higher level of success. So much so that Ademir Da Guia - one of the greatest players in Palmeiras’ history, who played in both Academies - once said that we are watching the rise of the Third Academy.
With that in mind, we came up with a campaign to launch the 2023 Home Kit that brings up the Soccer Academies history and its players, and introduces the Third Academy, using the tagline “One Academy inspires the other. Welcome to the Third Academy”.
For the visual identity of the campaign, we were inspired by the design styles of the 60’s and the 70’s, but with a contemporary twist.
